Unbreakable Bond

From the moment Nia was born, she formed an unbreakable bond with elder sister Nirvi that has only grown stronger over time. Though three years apart, the sisters share an incredibly close friendship built on mutual love, trust, and support.

As a toddler, Nia looked up to Nirvi like a superhero. She wanted to mimic everything her big sister did, from academics to arts and crafts. Nirvi welcomed Nia’s admiration, patiently reading her stories, drawing cute animals together and teaching her alphabet songs. Their early sisterhood laid the foundation for a loving lifelong friendship.

Now at ages 12 and 9, Nirvi and Nia retain their special connection despite their own evolving interests. When Nia hits a sour note learning classical music, Nirvi cheers the loudest at performances. When Nirvi stresses over exams, Nia makes her laugh by striking silly poses. Their differences complement one another: Nirvi’s studiousness balances out Nia’s playfulness.

Yet the sisters also share core commonalities like creativity, ambition and family-oriented ness that bind them together. They dream up elaborate art projects to gift parents and collaborate in caring for their pet Murphy. Whether joking around, working together on a puzzle, or having heart-to-heart talks, Nirvi and Nia share an unshakable trust as best friends.

In a fast-changing world, their sisterhood remains a constant support system. As the sisters grow into young women, they know they have a lifelong confidant and ally in one another, no matter what challenges or milestones emerge. Nia feels endlessly grateful to have Nirvi as not just a sibling but very best friend, viewing the world together side by side, now and forever.

Born and Raised with Legacy

Nia’s most treasured childhood memories were made in the lush palm groves of her ancestral village, Varavoor with her beloved Valiyaveettil family. Both sides of her lineage hail from this serene oasis in the heart of Kerala’s Thrissur district, blessing Nia with an enormous extended family.

Nia and elder sister Nirvi eagerly await annual summer trips to their dad Vivek’s family home, where generations gather. Playing hide-and-seek in the mango orchard with a mob of cousins until dusk is Nia’s perfect idea of happiness.

Nia’s days in Varavoor fly by in a flurry of simple joys: chasing after chickens with her boy cousins, getting spun tales of heritage, and stuffing herself sticky with favourite aunts. Though worlds away in Pune most of the year, when Nia is surrounded by lineage in her ancestral village, she feels profoundly understood and rooted.

The bonds nurtured in Varavoor remain unbroken by time or distance. Whenever the Valiyaveettil clan comes to visit Pune, it’s a whirlwind reunion filled with laughter, discussion and unfettered fun just like days together back home. Years are condensed into moments sharing meals and making new memories.

Nia’s ancestral origins and loving familial connections in Thrissur fill her with immense pride. She looks forward to the day she can pass down Varavoor’s legacy of joy, kinship, and resilience to her own children, so these roots live on for generations to come. Kerala forever pulses through Nia’s veins.
